I guessed what was going on when people started advertising to buy all candy, serums etc two days ago.
ANet should probably tighten up the security around events, as beta testers obviously leaked info this time.

They have warned you not to use the items right away... people should have saved them.

well im kinda poor but ive manged to save about 500 points worth of items over the years. ive just never sold event items, im not much of a trader

actually beta testers didn't leak it. people who raided the .dat file found out days ago. gave them a little head start if they had the money

I have saved up loads for guild parties etc, though in true fashion i gave pretty much all of them to guildies at the parties xDDD I probably got about 300 items left lol, i guess i got some saving to do over the weekend ^^

I don't like the grind titles. I do however, still get them. When titles were first added, I was happy. It was something to PLAY for. Carto, skill hunter, protector, all those were awesome. Lightbringer, sunspear and the rest, meh. I'll finish them on my main just for the statue but sweet tooth, drunkard, maybe I'll do them, but I don't really care about them at all.

Its especially taxing to work toward these titles when we don't know what we'll get for them. I'm suspecting that it won't be anything all that special. It'll likley be a huge letdown, but I'm working toward them anyway, just in case.

I have rank 1 because I have over 1000 sparklers on my Mule character, I remember when I was going after FOW and I was trying so hard to sell 4 stacks of Sparklers for 3k and not a Single person wanted to buy them, some people offered me 500g for stacks now there are worth so much more, I am happy no one wanted to buy them, now I have rank 1 with no problems.

I find it funny that I tried desperately to sell a whole crap load about 6mths ago and no one would buy them for even 10k.... I ended up burning a bunch long before, and had I saved them I would have had about 600pts now -_-

I'm glad I have an addiction to Snowman Summoners...but now it's going to be harder to use them when you're burning through them at 150 gold/pop.

Oh well...gotta figure out if my greed will exceed my love for those little guys.

I'm gonna murder snowmen again, then... will help with my Lucky/unlucky/treasure hunter titles too (4-5 chests, 15 minutes in HM, plus the Snowman Summoners reward). Makes me wish I hadn't spent stacks BEFORE this. Lacking storage space sucks.
